Superyacht 'Stella Maris' Hits The Water

On Saturday the 23rd of June the Italian shipyard Viareggio Superyachts pre-launched their 72m (236ft) flagship 'Stella Maris' and a few weeks ago on the 27th July she was lowered into the water at the Italian Naval Arsenal in La Spezia . The success of their two previous 62m (203ft) yachts Candyscape II and RoMa catapulted VSY on to the international stage of Superyacht builders, and the stunning Stella Maris will take them even further in the industry.

Managing Director of VSY, Luciano Scaramuccia, crowns Stella Maris as the most important yacht of this size built in Viareggio over the last 30 years. One of her unique and innovative features is her internal layout which consists of split deck levels which creates great space and a ceiling height of 2.7m in places. This creative internal design was the work of designer Michela Reverberi. The guest accommodation is forward on the main deck where you can see the large hull windows and the owners accommodation occupies the whole upper deck.

She will cruise the Med with her excited owner until September when she will attend the Monaco Boat Show. She is sure to be the main attraction at the show.
