Cantieri Navali Choggia Launch Pocket Explorer 'Irie Man'

The Italian shipyard Cantieri Navali Choggia have just launched this robust and durable little pocket expedition yacht called 'Irie Man'. She measures 26.6m (88ft) in length with a beam of 8.6m (26.6ft). She was built out of steel with the same technology and strength as a deep sea-tug and is ready to take on any sea condition. Her exterior style was based on a supply vessel with the added interior luxury for the guests comfort, she can be managed by a very small crew which is always a plus for the owner.

Her very large fuel tank of 42,000 liters will give her a long range capability of 8,500nm at a speed of 8kts, perfect for world exploration. There will be accommodation for 8 guests on board which includes a full beam owners cabin amidships, a VIP cabin and 2 guest cabins all on the lower deck. The main saloon and dining area is located on the main deck, with a second saloon on the upper deck aft of the bridge. The crew accommodationn is located forward on the main deck. Her colourful and modern interior will definitely warm and brighten up any wet and cold passages.

The sun deck will include a sun lounging area and jacuzzi forward where guests can enjoy the surrounding area. You can except to find Irie Man in and around Cannes and Genoa this month and in September. Maybe she will make an appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show in September and you can be sure a few awards will go her way this year for her bright colourful interior.
